And The Little One Said

Roll over!!

That's right - she finally rolled over! Olivia had a big weekend ... first with sitting in a big girl chair (i.e. a high chair) at Santa Rita for lunch, then she decided she'd roll over. "No big deal, I'll just roll over here real quick ..." Uh huh! We do everything under the sun to encourage her to roll over. Then on Sunday, I laid her down on her tummy real quick to get her Jumperoo ready, and she just kicked herself right over, like she was an old pro! She hasn't done it since, but dangit at least I know she can!

May pictures have gotten out of control, so here they come. Naturally, I need to post 20 different versions of the same picture, because she is just that cute. I'm being nice to y'all - these are the best 20 (okay, 28) out of 229. I'm that mom, huh? I never saw it coming.

Video Monday

Olivia has a butterfly mobile over her crib that provides wonderful entertainment, because she'll always pick entertainment over sleep. She is 4 months old here.

Pianist or Drummer? One of life's biggest decisions. 4.5 months old. This was just this afternoon :-)

Flashback Friday

This seems like a very long time ago.

More April!

'Doh! I realized I haven't posted any of the April pictures. Here's some more :-)

Olivia, myself, and my parents went to see the Quebe Sisters Band at Waterloo. They are fantastic!

As you can see, Olivia attended her first hot rod car show - The Lonestar Roundup. She was stylin' and matching the cars!

More April Pictures

Our friends Dennis and Heather had a very handsome little boy on April 8th! We all enjoyed a wonderful dinner out when he was just a week old. Parker James:

 Olivia enjoyed Parker's toes.

We technically ended up doing her monthly photos twice. She was not in the mood the first time, and I didn't like her outfit on camera.

But the next day, I did get some sweetness from my Sweetness :-)

 "What ... is ... on ... my ... head?!"

 Bubbles!

 "Mom, enough with the pictures."

At her 4 month appointment, she was 25" long which puts her in the 77% for height. She was also 18 pounds, 12 ounces! Originally, the nurse wrote 100% on her chart, but the doctor explained that would mean she was bigger than every other baby and then she added, "And there's at least one!" She crossed out 100% and wrote >99%. And for the record, I do know of at least one baby chunkier than Olivia, haha! No one is worried about a thing though, because she's breastfed she's healthy. I love kissing on her chubby cheeks!
